On the 24 of February at 4:00 on a Friday the turangawrawe festival got held at Parklands school

There was jump jam, zumba and salsa. Their was a lot of food and fun things to do like swimming in the pool, bouncy castles and entertainment. It was a great day.

 AWOROA TRIP

Looking over Awora

On the 9th of March Room 1&2 are going from school to Kaiteriteri in cars and catching the Wilsons boat to Aworoa.  We are going to be going swimming and learn some history about it then we will be going on a long 2hour walk from Awarora to Tonga Quarry then we will catch the boat from there to Kaiteriteri.    

AWAROA RECOUNTS

The reason we went on the trip were:

For us to learn more history of Awaroa to get us fit and have fitness and have a good day out of the class.

The journey went from:

Parklands school to Kaiteriteri then on the Wilsons, boat to Awaroa and learnt some history and tthen went on a two hour walk yo Tongaquary and caught the Wilsons, boat agin back to Kaiteriteri.

The highlights for me were:

Seeing stingrays and going on the Wilson's boat.

The benefits for me were:

Fitness and learning history about Adele Hadfield.

DUFFY THEATE15:03:12 

On the 14:03:12 Parklands school went to the Duffy theater in the Huia club rooms next to our school .  All of the little kids laughed but it wasn't that funny.   The guy that was peforming came on stage and fell over on accident and nearly fell on a kid. There  were 3 actors Duffy, Scruffy and Marble.  Marble was a book and Duffy was Scruffys big brother. They all played diffrent parts.   Scruffy thought he was cool and cracked out a nek minnit joke.   Marble was the main character
